Chapter 14: Fasting!

Today at church, I learned about fasting. I learned that you fast on Fast Sunday or whenever you have a special request from Heavenly Father. You should probably start fasting when you turn eight. Even though, I am only seven, I decided I am going to start fasting today. I am going to fast for my little sister. She is still in my mom's tummy and she will come out in 8 weeks. I am fasting that she will be safe and that everything will be perfect when she comes out.

Chapter 13: This year

This year, I am going to Star Elementary. Every morning, I take the bus to school and Cole and my mom walk me to the bus stop. I don't take the bus home after school, though. I did on the first day but the trip was so long that I feel asleep on the bus.

On Mondays, I go to a special program at a different school. The program is called Challenge and we do really interesting projects there all day. I am liking school this year. My favorite friends to play with are Keaton, Kylan, Luke, Josh, Mitch, Max and Riggin, and of course, my cousin, Sam. A new boy just moved in across the street. I went over to his house to introduce him but we haven't played together yet.

I am taking swimming lessons twice a week. It is fun and I can tell that I am improving as a swimmer. I am also taking a music class. We each have our own set of bells and we learn rhythm and beats. I really like it. I played tackle football for the first time the other night. It was a lot of fun. I want to start playing it a lot. I go to a soccer camp every Saturday. I am one of the oldest people at the camp. It is great and I know I am getting to be a better player.

I am really excited about my new little sister who will be born soon. I am trying to convince my mom to let her sleep with me in my room. She says that probably won't happen.

I can't wait to see all the cousins again. It seems like it is too far away!

Chapter 11: Father's Day!

What a great day for me! I am very lucky because I have two dads, and three Grandpas. It was fun to wish all of these great guys in my life a Happy Father's Day! I have my dad, the one who has been my dad for my whole life. I get to go and visit him regularly. I also get to go with him on big trips to Panama. His Dad is one of my grandpas and I love them both a lot.


This past year my mom finally got married! She and I had both waited for this day for a long time! We are both very happy about it because now it feels like we are one big happy family. And, guess what? We are going to have another little person join our family in January because my mom is pregnant! She really is getting fat! Greg is her husband and so is my second dad. I love him a lot. We have a lot of fun together. We like to do a lot of the same things. He took me camping the other weekend for Father-Sons outing! It was a blast. Greg's dad is my other grandpa. I love both of them a lot.



The last man that made this Father's Day special for me is my mom's dad, Grandpa Warner. I love him so much. He is so nice to me and we have spent a lot of time together. Sometimes, I like to wrestle with him. Other times, I like to read the newspaper with him or work in the garden. He is a great man and I love him a lot!

Chapter 10: My Plan Worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So remember my plan? Sam stood on one side of the flu bug and Alex stood on the other side of him. Then, the flu bug jumped into Alex's hands. Alex immediately closed his hands on the bug. As Alex opened his hands a little on the bug, I was able to shoot the bug before he was able to escape. As the poison went into the bug's body, he began to turn green all over. He will be dead soon! We did it!

Chapter 9: Duke Lives!

It is a miracle! My snake, Duke, finally ate a mouse!!!!!! He is going to live! I am so happy! We were so worried. He escaped from his cage about 3 1/2 months ago. We found him in the basement last month. Every third day, we would try to feed him a mouse but he didn't have any interest in the mouse. Two weeks ago, he shed his entire skin. We thought maybe that is why he wasn't eating. But, he still wouldn't eat! We were trying to figure out what to do. Maybe we should let him go free in the backyard. But, we were worried that he would die out there. Last Friday, as we got ready to go camping, my mom and I tried to get him to eat a mouse again. And he finally did! I am so happy! Yee-hah! Duke is going to be around for a long time more! Hooray, Duke!

Chapter:8 the flu bug

Well, by that time (in the future) there was this bug called the Flu Bug. It was going around, biting every single person it could. We had to stop it. But, it was so fast that we couldn't until...we came up with a plan to capture this flu bug. Our plan was this: one person would be on one side of the flu bug and the other person would be on the other side. And, then, one person would distract the flu bug and make it jump fast into the other person. And then, the other person with a bb gun would shoot it. And then, it would die.

Chapter 7: Duke Returns!

A crazy alien stole Duke. We got him back.

Chapter 1: Life with Duke

On Saturday, I got the Christmas present I had been hoping for: a real live snake. He is amazing. His name is Duke. He is awesome and I love him. I have to hold him every day for an half hour. It is my favorite time of the day. I think he is getting to know me and I think he likes me.
